The Miss USA 2010 competition (not Miss America 2010, as some people get the two confused) is set for May 16 and is expected to be one of the most exciting events in the history of the pageant. The organization has promised the hottest contestants this year – and are proving it with an ultra sexy set of black and white photos released this week which have some people completely outraged.
The set of controversial photos features each of the ladies strategically placed in provocative positions while posing on a bed. Most of the photos feature contestants in skimpy lingerie, oversized tees (with nothing else) and sky-high heels. The shots, which ironically resemble pics you’d expect to see when flipping through a Playboy mag, have hit the Internet and are causing media frenzy this morning.
While we agree that the photos are a little promiscuous, especially considering most of these women are less than 20 years old, they’re no sexier than the shots taken of the women in bikinis as they strut their stuff on stage in tiny two-piece suits for millions of viewers.
Pageant organizers knew when they released these photos that they were going to create buzz. Was it a planned publicity stunt? Yes. Did it work? Absolutely.
The only problem with these photos is they support the belief that women have to take off their clothes to get noticed – a belief that the Miss USA organization has been supporting for years (otherwise, why would there be a bikini segment every year). It’s pics like these that make trashy girls like Carrie Prejean think it’s okay to flash their tatas to the camera before they’re even of legal age.
The Miss USA organization stands by their decision to release the sexy (and controversial) photos.
Take a look for yourself and let us know if you think these photos are too steamy:

Sigh. Much ado about absolutely nothing. Sad, we evidently ARE a nation of prudes. Uptight and inhibited over sex, and the human body in general. Kids raised being told it’s a big forbidden nasty and “protected” from nudity, no wonder we have so many obsessed, twisted, sexual predators in our midst.
I look like these girls. I think being looking like maxim or victoria secret models is NOT what Miss USA contestants should look like!!! They are role models to young girl! Being an over sexulized being denigrates women! It figures Donald Trump is involved Mr bad role model himself! Americans are not prudish enough and we are role models to the world! We are not followers, but leaders! I think pretty is what pretty does! If a woman is not clean cut really there is not much good she has done! Women sell themselves cheap today! Im hot and clean cut and guess who got the guys??? ME……..cause when it came to marriage the other girls where just a notch! We want girls today to live with respect for themselves! Not desperate for male attention! The girl who doesn’t go around the block is the winner in the end and Miss USA is suppose to exemplify that!!!!
i look like this in underwear (so ppl dont say im jealous – im not!) – but i wouldnt EVER pose like this for the whole country! geez. miss whore-merica. this is trashy and bad for women in general. im sure one of them will end up on celebrity rehab, rock of love, or a ditch this year. gross.
