If Tiger Woods, Jesse James and David Letterman need another dirtbag addition to their boys club, they might want to contact Matt Lauer.
The Today Show host has reportedly been caught cheating on his wife of 12 years, once again, this time with a 26-year-old woman.
The 52-year-old serial cheater is no stranger to controversy. In 2000, just two years after he married his wife, Annette Rogue, Lauer was accused of cheating on her with a married woman.
After the initial accusations in 2000, the pair tried to work out their differences but ultimately divorced, only to reconcile a few years later. It seems old habits die hard because Lauer is back up to his old antics.
Matt and Annette are filing for divorce again, this time after allegations of Matt cheating on her while covering the 2010 Olympics. RadarOnline.com reports that not only did Lauer choose not to fly home to see his wife on Valentine’s Day but he also extended his “business trip” after the games ended and all of his coworkers flew back home.
Other reports claim that Lauer was seen partying hard and constantly flirting with women while out in Vancouver, one of them being the 26-year-old woman he is reportedly leaving his wife for.
Matt has now moved out of the family’s home but hopes to find a way to amicably raise their children together. Lauer and Rogue have three children together, Jack,8, Romy, 6, and Thijs, 2.
It’s unfortunate that Matt has to join the likes of Tiger, Jesse and David.
Hopefully karma kicks Matt’s ass like it did Tiger Woods.
