H&M Debuts Collection to Benefit Fashion Against AIDS Campaign

H&MMay 20th, H&M debuted a new collection to benefit their annual Fashion Against AIDS event.

The Fashion Against AIDS campaign is to raise HIV/AIDS awareness among the world’s youth and raise money for HIV/AIDS projects worldwide.  H&M has released a festival-inspired fashion collection specifically for the campaign, and for each purchase made from the special collection, H&M will donate 25% of the sale’s price toward HIV/AIDS prevention projects for kids all over the world.

The collection features the affordable and trendy clothing for both men and women we are used to from the fashion house, as well as fashionable festival accessories like leopard print tents, sleeping bags and headphones.

H&M’s head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson, explained of the line:

“For me, festivals are unique and inspirational places as they join both music and fashion. To see your favorite bands, to see creative people gathered, all from different nations and with different looks, really inspires me.”

The collection is now available in 200 H&M stores, and on the Fashion Against AIDS website.
