Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Dating “Obviously”
Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were one of the most talked about couples on the 2010 Season of Dancing with the Stars. Week after week, Erin and Maks danced their way through to the next rounds while captivating viewers with their undeniable chemistry.
Rumors of a relationship between the sportscaster and her professional dance partner have been flooding the Internet the past few weeks, leading many to believe there’s more to this dynamic duo than their moves on the dance floor.
Last night, Erin and Maksim were eliminated during the first half of the Dancing with the Stars finale episode, winding up in the third position overall. And while some of the contestants this season bawled their way off the dance floor (Jake Pavelka and Kate Gosselin to name a few), Erin and Maks delivered two of the most touching farewells in the history of the show.
Erin’s Goodbye:
“This experience has meant everything to me. I knew that [Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek] were going to go head-to-head in this, but I came here under really crummy circumstances, and I just wanted to get my life back together and my smile back and I just wanted to be myself again. And you guys have been amazing, [the judges] have and my family up there and [Maksim] has just put my life back together.”
Maks’ Goodbye:
“It was a roller coaster,” said a clearly choked up Chmerkovskiy. “I think we both learned a lot about each other and ourselves, and I learned a lot about myself. It’s been an amazing journey. I’ve come close before, but you know, this is obviously different. And I feel like we’ve won, and I certainly have.”
Even host Tom Bergeron stated that this was the most emotional he’s ever seen Maksim.
Well if this is “obviously different” it can only mean one thing: Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are dating!
They just might be Dancing with the Stars’ hottest couple yet!
