Sheryl Crow Adopts Baby Boy!
Sheryl Crow is a mom – again! According to US Weekly, the 48 year-old singer, philanthropist and breast cancer survivor announced on her official website today: “Wyatt has a new little brother!”
Her new son, Levi James, “was born April 30,” she added. Wyatt, whom Sheryl adopted in 2007, is now 3. Sheryl has a positive attitude about being a single mother: “For my whole life, I had a pretty clear picture of what my life was supposed to be. I was supposed to have a big career but at the same time a husband, the house and the kids. That’s what I knew. That’s what a successful life consisted of,” she said in a 2008 interview with Parade magazine. “A family doesn’t always look like girl meets boy, they fall in love, they get married, they have a kid,” Crow went on. “I said, ‘OK, I’m going to let go of what I think things are supposed to look like, because I can’t control anything. When I try to control things, that’s when I keep things from happening.’”
Her newly expanded family won’t keep her off the road. According to Pollstar, Sheryl will play tour dates throughout the summer across the midwest, East coast and Canada before making her way to the West Coast in September.
