January Jones Car Accident Caused by Paparazzi!
January Jones, who plays Betty Draper on the hit show Mad Men, was in a car accident last night around 9pm.
The actress reportedly lost control of her car and ended up hitting 2 parked cars after leaving a Lakers game. Clearly flustered at what had taken place, the blonde beauty gave her insurance information to the appropriate parties involved, fled the scene, went home and called 911.
A witness who saw the incident take place told TMZ that after the crash Jones said “I can’t deal with this commotion” and left the area. She walked home and came back chewing gum, the witness reports.
After calling 911, Jones met up with police at the scene. Her car was impounded as part of the investigation and, despite some saying she smelt of alcohol, reports state that she was not cited or arrested and police have determined there were no drugs or alcohol involved.
So what would make January all of a sudden lose control of her car and crash into two parked cars? The paparazzi, of course. January claims she was being run down by photogs while on her way home.
This is exactly why there should be laws against paparazzi following celebrities in their cars. Someone could have died!
