Anybody want to go on a date with Robert Pattinson? Anyone? Anyone?
According to E! News, the Eclipse star said on The TODAY Show this morning that he just wants to go on a date. But it’s not that he can’t find a willing participant, it’s that the paparazzi make it impossible. Check out the video of the interview:

“I would like to go on a date,” Rob said. “I’m just saying. I’m just putting that out there. Because I never go on dates anymore.” Awww. (So does that finally confirm that he’s NOT dating Kristen Stewart?)
The vampy hunk’s paparazzi attention has been intense, and when he starts filming the two-part Breaking Dawn, it’s bound to get worse. ”The last time, when we were shooting Eclipse in Vancouver, the entire paparazzi population of L.A. came up and just camped outside the hotel,” he said. ”So, if it’s in Vancouver, I’ll probably end up getting cabin fever and end up jumping off the balcony.”
Boo! Just let Rob have a date! Don’t fret, Twi-hards; Rob is known for his lack of seriousness in interviews…remember when he said he was “allergic” to vagina? At least he didn’t compare paparazzi stalking to rape, like Kristen Stewart did.
Maybe be would like to take Kristen out on a REAL date; as they are always chased by the paparazzi and fans making it impossible to even to out for a simple dinner and to a club to hear some music. And I’m glad he wouldn’t just settle for anything!
You crazy people don’t force him upon Kristen, I hope he finds a girl who loves him for him not what people have created, a nice down to earth girl,I feel sorry for him because it seems like every girl and woman (older) is obsessed with him. You can’t build a relashionship on that and I know as much as I want to be with him if the opportunity did come around it wouldn’t work out cause you’ll always be disapointed.
I saw the YouTube footage that I guess someone snuck in. He did a lot of cute things, and they did seem to flirt a lot.
I think when he was talking about wanting to go on dates he was talking about being able to go out without hundreds of fans screaming, following him around, and asking for pictures/autographs. He said the I want to go on dates part right after he was talking about the H*ll it is to just be able to go out somewhere. He said he was tired of being coped up in a hotel room all the time.
If he is with Kristen maybe he wants to take her out instead of taking her to a hotel room to eat room service food, and watch TV all the time. He then mentioned, “If I have to sit stuck in my hotel room in Vancouver during the taping of Breaking Dawn I may just jump off the balconey.”
When asked about Kristen all he said was, “Can’t I just go somewhere with someone without hearing what others think of my relationships. Shut up!”

As for KStew… she said that she does not want to cheapen a relationship by always talking about it to the media. “If I say who I was dating then everyone would want to know the details. That is private.”

The interview did happen, but they twisted it. His reps said that people are taking it apart, and getting something out of it that he did not mean.

I think what he really means is that he cannot go out on a date with another guy without ruining his career.
It’s so clear that this relationship is designed for public relations. They are all going to cash in a move on. Once he has done enough artsy roles and established himself as someone other than ‘Edward’ he’ll come out.
