Jeremy London told police he was kidnapped, robbed and forced to smoke drugs last Thursday night in Palm Springs. According to The Huffington Post, the Party of Five and Seventh Heaven star said he was trying to change a tire when two men stopped to help him and instead threw him into his car, drove him around and terrorized him at gunpoint.
“He told officers (during the kidnapping) that he was forced to smoke dope [crack cocaine or amphetamines] and then purchase booze and hand it out in a gang area of Palm Springs,” a police officer told Radar Online.
Jeremy manage to escape around 3 a.m. Thursday, after being trapped for five hours. Later, his care was found and two men were charged with the kidnapping Wednesday. One of the men charged, Brandon Ray Adams, is behind bars and is being held on $500,000 bail. Adams, 26, is charged with kidnapping, robbery, possession of stolen property, vehicle theft and carjacking. According to The Desert Sun, three of the charges also carry an alleged enhancement of using a firearm during a felony. Adams pleaded innocent to the charges.
“Jeremy said it was a terrorizing experience,” a source told Radar. “He spent hours thinking he was going to die and he did what he had to do not to end up shot or dead.”
Jeremy’s already been having a pretty rough time of it. He’s going through a divorce, and he recently opened up about his prescription drug addiction. I hope his luck turns around soon…
