I try to avoid all Kate Gosselin “news,” but I had to share the latest headline: the blonde octomom and bad ballroom dancer will NOT be getting a reality dating show.
Woo! According to CNN, a report in Life & Style magazine said that Kate has been “working on a deal to do a new reality dating series on ABC,” and could possibly end up as the next Bachelorette.
Bachelor and Bachelorette host Chris Harrison didn’t help to dispel the rumors when he told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that people have asked him about the possibility of K-Goss becoming the next Bachelorette. “[Gosselin] said she would never do [‘The Bachelorette’], and then somebody asked me about it, and I said I don’t remember ever asking her to do the show. But I followed that up by saying, ‘From all I hear she’s actually a lovely woman and as nice as can be and I think that would be a phenomenal show,’ ” Harrison said.
Seacrest agreed that the idea was “genius,” adding that if ABC isn’t trying to get Kate, they should start. Umm. Disagree.
But Kate Gosselin’s rep said there are no plans for Kate to find a man via reality dating show. “She doesn’t want to do a dating show; she was never going to do a dating show,” the rep said. “She’s very busy at work on her Kate Plus 8 specials and Twist of Kate.
I would imagine those eight little tots also make dating a bit difficult?
