Poor Robert Green is having a rough few weeks.
After missing an easy save in England’s opening match at the World Cup which resulted in a tie for his team versus the United States, breaking up with his girlfriend, and sitting on the bench for the club’s second game against Algeria, this week brings even more bad news for Robert.
(Really, I feel bad for the guy. He can’t seem to catch a break!)
TMZ is reporting that Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford was spotted out in London last weekend with the goalie’s ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Minett. The pair was photographed together leaving a private party and I don’t know what it is but (sorry Robert) they look amazingly good together!
After missing the easy save in England’s game against the US, newspapers across the UK speculated that the goalie’s recent break up with Elizabeth distracted his focus in the game. Green however has said that the split had no effect on his play.
England’s next match is June 23, against Slovenia.
