Miley Cyrus had the privilege of co-hosting Canada’s MMVAs 2010 (Much Music Video Awards) and she took every opportunity to show the world that she really can’t be tamed.
After telling PEOPLE last week that she’s no longer going to hold back, the former Hannah Montana star proved her statement true as she danced provocatively on stage for the event.
Many are criticizing Miley’s performance, claiming it’s simply too sexy for a 17-year-old. She was thrusting all over stage in barely-there outfits that shouldn’t be worn by 20-year-old females, let alone 17-year-olds.
We have to agree that the pop star is simply spiraling out of control. Each performance is topped by an even sluttier one and neither she nor her parents seem to mind that she’s now known more for being inappropriately sexy than any actual talent.

As a parent who used to let my daughter watch Hannah Montana, I am appalled at Miley’s behavior. Now my daughter still loves miley and is going away dancing like she’s a stripper. If I had known MIley was going to end up like this, I would have never let my daughter watch Hannah Montana. Shame on Miley’s parents for letting this happen.

I think if it was one isolated incident it would be differnt but there have been so many incidences in such a short period of time (the lap dancing, the Dancing with the Stars performance, the girl on girl kiss at BGT…and so on). She’s making herself look desperate and she doesnt have to, she’s talented on her own but its getting lost now.

I’m not too sure why Miley needs to wear fewer pieces of clothing each time she performs. Is it really necessary for a 17 year old girl to be showing her body off to her fans? I understand she is getting older and her style changes, but wearing barely anything while performing at the MMVA’s isn’t the best way for her to be a positive role model for young girls. I don’t think her father would approve!
Really, If not for being in the public /MEDIA eye she is just like every other 17 year old. What is worn on stage is called a costume! Get over it, they wear just as little during the shows at amusement parks, and don’t tell me that a bikini covers more. She is saying that she is nolonger willing to hold back to be a role model for younger girls, that is now someone elses job! maybe yours MOM! She wants to be seen as a young woman and is flaunting that fact. At this point there is nothing a parent can do but let their child fly or crash and be there to support them giving guidance whenever they will take it!
17 or not, this girl is fierce and you can’t deny it. She can sing, she can dance, she can act. Whether YOU agree with what she’s doing or like it does not matter. She’s a commercial success. AND, she can parade around it next-to-nothing and get away with it because the Britneys of the world paved the way. Stop hatin’ on Miley and go do some good in the world.

Hmmm the way I look at it is..If ya got the fame and the money and the body then go for it and she does, its because she likes it. Why should any of us care..if the tables were turned we would be doin it our selves…She is popular young woman and she is making a stand leave her alone im sure her daddy will tell her enough is enough after all she is only 17 still..but other than that leave her alone she is a BEAUTIFUL PERSON!!!
