Sandra Bullock Makes Appearance at Nashville Rising Benefit (Watch!)
There’s a reason why Sandra Bullock is America’s Sweetheart and she showed it last night as the actress surprised the audience at the Nashville Rising benefit.
Emerging from backstage to deafening applause, Sandra spoke about the Tennessee city, and the strength of their community. “They say a community is only as strong as its weakest link, and from where I stand, I see no weak links,” she told the crowd.
Tim McGraw, who starred with Sandra in The Blind Side, asked her to participate. Ever the good sport, Sandra was more than happy to oblige, stepping out on stage to introduce McGraw’s wife, Faith Hill before her set.
Prior to leaving the stage, Sandra treated the audience to her own musical talents. She awkwardly placed a guitar on her lap and told the audience to listen up as she briefly played a few bars of the familiar introduction to Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water.” Watch:
While there is likely no record deal in Sandra Bullock’s future, she sure did bring down the house.
