Poor Jake had to read his engagement to Vienna was over on the cover of Star magazine (and I thought the Burger-Carrie break up via post-it on Sex and the City was bad)!
If that wasn’t a big enough kick-in the gut, Pop Eater is reporting that Vienna sold their split story for a cool $90,000 behind Jake’s back. A source says, “Jake was totally blindsided. Not only did he have no idea that Vienna was calling off their three-month engagement, he also had no idea that she would be the type of girl to profit from the breakup.”
Really Jake? I guess you never actually watched your season of the Bachelor.
Pop Eater’s source continues by saying that Jake is “devastated by the news. He thought he had found the love of his life and now finds out she sold him out.”
Through all of his tears, Jake still managed to put down the Kleenex long enough to tell his side of the story to People magazine.
TMZ reports sources have come forward to say that it was Jake who eventually ended the relationship, as he was concerned that Vienna was cheating on him with actor Gregory Michael, from the ABC family show, Greek.
ABC is reportedly upset with the way Vienna has handled their split and has expressed concern over the future of the entire ‘Bachelor’ franchise. “Once people stop believing the show is about finding true love and instead making these awful people famous, they will stop watching.”
Oh, ABC. I think that ship has sailed, but does still make for some gossip-worthy guilty-pleasure TV.
