La Toya Jackson Still Insists Michael Jackson was Murdered

One year ago, the world was shocked by the death of music icon Michael Jackson. Although no one was arrested in connected with Michael’s prescription drug-related death, E News reports that Michael Jackson’s sister La Toya said in an interview with Britain’s GMTV that she thinks there’s a conspiracy, and that Conrad Murray’s continued freedom is “a slap in the face” not only to the entire Jackson family, but to Michael’s fans. Check out the video.

La Toya has long maintained that Michael’s overdose of propofol was not accidental. She said her family was experiencing continued “frustration on the part of what actually happened and what took place.”

“Personally I think it’s a slap in the face not just to Michael but to the entire family. It’s totally unfair, it’s wrong and it was not an accident…I don’t understand the justice system here…I don’t understand what’s going on and why this is taking so long and why the people that are responsible for this have really not been given the justice they deserve.”

She also said she “never had a doubt” that there were in fact people responsible. ”Michael was murdered for his catalog,” she said. “That’s the bottom line, he was murdered for his catalog. And they knew that and they knew Michael was worth so much more dead than alive. His children deserve the truth, I think his parents deserve the truth, his family and his fans.”

A recent 60 Minutes report reiterated that many stars – Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, etc. – make gobs more money after their death than in their lives. Could La Toya be right?
