Madonna’s 13-year old daughter has started blogging to promote her new junior’s line for Macy’s called, “Material Girl.” In her blog Lourdes sounds like a fun and normal teenager, saying that she can’t wait to be able to turn 14 so that she will be allowed to dye her hair, and talking about her love of 80’s clothing and vintage fashion.
But Lourdes isn’t just any 13-year old. Her Mom is Madonna after all. So while Mom holds the ‘Creative Director’ title for the line, the woman behind the designs is actually Lourdes herself.
When discussing the new Macy’s line, Madonna said, “I’ve been involved in business meetings, but Lola’s really doing the work. I just sit in the corner on my BlackBerry!” reports E Online.
So what does Lourdes cite as has her favorite summer looks?
“I am totally obsessivo about 80’s shorts” the teenager writes on her new blog, “You know the kind that makes your butt look kinda big, with a grunge-looking shirt tucked in.” Adding, “It’s kinda nerdy but I love it.” She’s also in the market for a great pair of sandals.
