Teresa Guidice is my favorite New Jersey housewife- and I seriously mean that. She stays out of all the drama until it’s brought to her doorstep, where she deals with it head on with hilarious and blunt one liners and, of course, that infamous, herculean table flip.
Aside from that, she seems to have a great marriage, a great home and is a fantastic mom with a rockin’ body after having four babies, that leaves all her fellow Housewives wondering how she does it.
A first generation Italian and one of the stars of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Guidice recently published her own cookbook, Skinny Italian, featuring the authentic family recipes she grew up on, and how she keeps just a slim figure while slurping plates of pasta. 40 clove chicken makes my table flip.
Pre-heat oven to 350
Ingredients:
Whole chicken cut up into 8 pieces.
40 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons olive oil
thyme
salt and pepper he chicken and drizzle the 2 tablespoons of olive oil on pieces.
In a skillet, brown the chicken slightly.
Place chicken in oven proof pan (glass) cover with remaining
olive oil, garlic and thyme.
cook for 90 minutes in oven.
YUMMMMM!
