Angry fans of Brazil’s World Cup team have chosen a handy celeb on whom to blame their loss: Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. According to The AFP, the internet and Twitter are abuzz with negativity about Mick, as fans claim that his presence is a bad luck charm.
Here’s the evidence: Mick supported Brazil to beat the Netherlands in the quarter-finals, but the Dutch went through 2-1. Now, The Netherlands will play the winner of Friday’s Uruguay-Ghana match in the World Cup semifinals. Earlier, the rocker had favored the United States and England. Both the USA and England lost in the last 16.
The fact that Jagger attended today’s game against the Dutch with his Brazilian son by Luciana Gimenez, the media made him an easy target.
“Who will the Rolling Stones frontman support next?” several websites asked. You’d better hope it’s not your team! O Estado de Sao Paulo weighed in: “After putting out the USA, England and Brazil – which will be the next team that Mick Jagger throws his support behind?”
“The curse of Mick Jagger continues,” said sports daily Lance, adding: “With his support for the United States and England and Brazil the leader of the Rolling Stones has been collecting only defeats at the World Cup.”
Come on, people. I really don’t think we can blame our World Cup losses on Mick Jagger. It’s kind of fun though. Maybe we can make this a bigger thing, and blame everything Mick Jagger. Oil spills! Wars! Car crashes!

Jagger has also cursed Argentina.
That’s only a joke..
Of course we don’t think so..
Mick Jagger ruined my marriage!!
