Eric Johnson: Jessica Simpsons New Boyfriend
Jessica Simpson has a new man! The country singer / TV Show host is dating former San Francisco 49ers tight end, Eric Johnson. Pop Crunch is reporting that Jess has been quietly seeing Johnson for a few months, and the new couple seems to be “very happy.”
A former NFL player is a good match for Jess – she was dubbed ‘Yoko Romo’ after her hometown Dallas Cowboys and then-boyfriend Tony Romo had a run of bad luck while they were dating during the 2008 NFL season. Jessica and Tony split the night before Simpson’s 29th birthday.
However, since Johnson last touched a football with the New Orlean’s Saints over two years ago – she won’t have to relive any talks of the ‘Simpson curse’ on the field.
The former footballer is new to the singles scene – Eric filed for divorce from his wife just three months before he began dating Jessica.
Jessica’s show, “The Price of Beauty” will be returning for a second season on VH1 next year.
