Jersey Shore’s Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley debuted her new clothing line Saturday night in Las Vegas.
What made the reality star branch out into a career in fashion? Apparently JWoww had some trouble finding clothes that fit her – ahem, ‘assets’ – while filming the first season of Jersey Shore, so “she “started altering stuff [she] had – ripping it up, or making sling shirts and [her] fans were asking, ‘Where can I get them,” and voila, Filthy Clothing was born.
No, that’s not a humorous typo. Filthy is the name of her line (though ‘Slutty’ would be slightly more appropriate).
But don’t let the cheap appearance of the clothes fool you – if you want to dress like a ho JWoww style it’s gonna cost you. A white “Feathers Top” that is made up of “sheer fabric laces” and “adorned with feathers for spectacular drama and movement” retails for $288! And that’s not even the most expensive thing on the website! (Trust me, it looks as classy as it sounds.) Bikini’s are priced around $150, while most tops and dresses cost over $400.
Oh, JWoww, do you really think the average street hooker your fans can afford these prices?
