Lebron Knicks? Miami Heat? Decision Revealed in TV Special

Lebron James has a big decision ahead of him. Where will he play next season? He’ll reveal his choice live in an hour-long special called The Decision, which airs tomorrow night at on ESPN.

According to CNN, the NBA star will likely get a contract worth between 96 million and 125 million dollars.  He gets the higher amount if he re-signs with his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, takes less if he changes teams, according to NBA salary cap rules.

The two biggest free agents after Lebron, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, said today they are going to play together for the Miami Heat - and they want LeBron to join them for a triumvirate of awesome. But others say he might join the New York Knicks.

The Decision TV special sounds uber-dramatic, but Lebron’s manager said that some kids will benefit: “Due to the unprecedented attention and interest surrounding LeBron’s decision, we have decided to make this announcement on national television,” James’ business manager, Maverick Carter, said on lebronjames.com. “By doing so we have generated funds that will be given to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. LeBron has a longstanding commitment to giving back to the community, and has worked with the Boys and Girls Clubs in cities across the country.”

Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
