Jessica Simpson Dating a Still-Married Eric Johnson?
Jessica Simpson has been dating former NFL player Eric Johnson for five weeks, US Weekly reports. But get this – he’s still legally married!
It all started when Eric, who got injured and retired from the NFL in 2008 after playing tight end for the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers, attended a party at Jessica’s house in Beverly Hills.
“Jess is definitely rushing into this,” a source said. And now there’s photo evidence: in the latest issue of Us Weekly, Eric and Jessica are walking through the airport, on their way to celebrate Eric’s grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary in Jacksonville, Florida. Wow. Meeting the fam after just 5 weeks? With a married guy? To be fair, Eric filed for divorce from his wife of five years, Keri, in January.
Sources say that Eric and Jessica engaged in some major PDA at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, where they stayed. “Her hand was on his butt, and they walked slowly just to enjoy the moment… They looked cute together,” an insider dished.
The marriage thing is a little messy, but I’m happy for Jess. Everybody’s always so negative about her…did you see the studded dress she wore to that thing in West Virginia? I didn’ t love it, but she looks good, people!
