Lindsay Lohan and Joan Rivers have taken to Twitter to battle it out. According to The Huffington Post, Joan tweeted a serious of jokes about the jail-bound Lindsay last week. One of her gems: ”I was just reading about the new Lindsay Lohan diet, which is all liquid. 80 proof.”
“Joan Rivers and her ‘stargument’ make me believe that she and Michael Lohan are a match made in heaven,” Lindsay tweeted on Tuesday. Unfortunately, MiLo is off the market, since he’s engaged to Kate Major, Jon Gosselin’s ex (don’t even get me started).
Lindsay continued fighting back against Joan: “In the words of 50 cent, You shouldn’t throw stones if you live in a glass house and if you got a glass jaw, you should watch yo mouth. All he needs is her botox doctor. ‘Dr.’ Drew – any ideas? Botox rehab reality show?”
Dr. Drew then chimed in, supporting Team Lindsay: “Thanks @lindsaylohan sounds like a terrific plan! Actually happy to see you have retained your sense of humor despite your circumstances.”
Lindsay’s ex-girlfriend Sam Ronson defended her too, tweeting, “Hey Joan Rivers, You have collagen older than Lindsay, pick on someone your own age, oh wait I guess people that old can’t hear.”
Joan appeared on The Insider to defend her jokes: “I think this ex-girlfriend, this deejay — I thought it was a skinny boy when I first saw the picture — came out doing jokes about me and Melissa. Why not worry about Lindsay Lohan? That girl is going to be dead in 10 years if somebody doesn’t take care of her,” Joan said. “The jokes, my God, were so minor. One was: She is not used to being in front of the bar; she is used to being under the bar. Silly little jokes that I put in my Twitter all the time. I suggest that this skanky little girl not worry about the jokes; worry about Lindsay. I find this insane that they are all feeding off of Lindsay. Maybe somebody should take care of Lindsay.”
Now, I don’t think Lindsay is a princess or anything, but come on, Joan. You continually make fun of the girl, and then say someone should take care of her? And what, are you the only one allowed to voice your opinion? If you’re going to diss someone on Twitter, you have to expect that people are going to fight back! I hope your plastic armor is strong enough.
