Lindsay Lohan: Jail Update!
Lindsay Lohan was taken into custody yesterday to begin serving the first part of her sentence behind bars. Note the smirk in her new mugshot (right) – you know she’s thinking she’ll be out in another 86 hours.
Not quite, but it’s also unlikely that she’ll serve her entire 90 day sentence behind bars either. Initially estimated to serve approximately 23 days, TMZ is now reporting that a representative from the Sheriff’s Department says Lindsay will likely remain in jail for about two weeks. Apparently Linds has been cooperative, polite and is generally taking this whole jail thing like a champ, despite her earlier sometimes-incoherent Twitter rants.
Though Lindsay won’t be able to smoke cigarettes in jail, doctors have allowed her prescriptions, including Adderoll and Ambien, writes TMZ. She will also be allowed a variety of junk food. According to TMZ, “each inmate is allowed $135 worth of KCNGPP’s gut-bombing grub baskets per week” which includes: Spicy Velveeta Refried Beans, Spam, Kit Kat Bar, Vanilla Crème Cookies, Cheese Curls, Country Time Raspberry or Lemon, Flour Tortillas and Cupcake SS. Lindsay will also get one hot meal and two cold meals per day.
