Bachelorette 2010: Justin Rego Speaks Out About Girlfriends, Ali Fedotowsky

Justin Rego is the controversial figure from the 2010 season of The Bachelorette and he’s ready to speak out on the events that took place while he was supposed to be searching for love with Ali Fedotowsky.

For those of you who missed it, Justin was kicked off the show after Ali found out from a former Bachelorette contestant that he had two girlfriends back home.

Since his exit, Justin has been fighting harsh criticism from fans of the show. In the midst of trying to fight back against the public scrutiny, Justin and his publicist, Julie Muir, have found themselves in the middle of a lawsuit against Warner Brothers.

Today, both Justin and Julie spoke openly with Adele from the Canadian radio show 91.5 The Beat where they tried their best to paint Justin in a more positive light.

Julie told Adele that “Justin’s name was dragged through the mud” last night on The Bachelorette Men Tell All when Craig R said he spoke for all the men when he said they do not support his actions and have no interest in being friends with him.

But Julie insists this isn’t the case. She revealed this morning that Jessie (the former Bachelorette contestant who revealed Justin’s secrets to Ali and slammed Justin on last night’s Men Tell All) texted her after the filming of last night’s special (on July 17) and asked Julie and Justin to meet her and Kirk (pretty sure something is heating up there) at a Keg restaurant. Julie insists that when they met up, Kirk was sincerely happy to see Justin and wants to be friends with him.

Justin also spoke openly with Adele telling her he’s doing as “much publicity as possible” after a “tough” night last night.

Justin says that he was surprised to see so many of his supposed friends talk so negatively about him on the show.

When asked why he didn’t attend the Men Tell All last night, Justin said it was “the simple fact that I didn’t want to get edited. I didn’t want to be at the mercy of the producers of the show.”

When asked if it was true that the show feeds drinks to the contestants and then makes them sign contracts, Justin says it was completely true.

And finally, when asked if he was dating Jessica and Kimberly (the second supposed girlfriend), Justin adamantly denied the allegations – even though there were voicemails to prove he was still interested in Jessica. Shocking.

Are you on Justin’s side yet?

Take a look at Justin’s exit from the show – and have a listen to his revealing voicemails below:

  1. No way in high hell am I on this guys side. Are you kidding? He lied on the show and he’s lying now. I hope he (and his publicist) get taken for all they’re worth

  2. I think Justin said everything without saying anything. I mean, his decision not to go on the Men Tell All basically says “I’m guilty” but doing all of this publicity this morning is easy when you dont have anyone to answer to. It’s a lot easier to defend yourself when you’re alone, isn’t it Justin. I lost all respect for you the moment those voicemails were aired.

  3. RadedRRRRRRRRR says:

Oh come on, give the guy a break. So what if he did have a girlfriend. At least he didnt sleep with a producer like the prostitute they let on the show last season. What he did may have been a little wrong but he doesnt deserve all of this backlash. Let it be.

  4. Dude…! The only “break” this guy needs is the other leg in a cast. He toyed with Ali’s and his girlfriends heart’s. He “broke” their hearts! His life is a lie and now he hides…

  5. this dude Justin deserves his own show. he dominated her and her emotions, something she clearly deserves. there are probably a thousand or so Tarts that would be happy to carry his crutches around for him. justin and that weirdo kasey should have a celebrity boxing match, called “Rated R vs the Protector”

  6. This is a game, this whole Bachelor/Bachlorette BS is just that a game. Women do worse than this to men everyday, and when a chick gets her feelings hurt, it’s the end of the world! I hate to tell all you ‘GOOd DOERS’out there, but Justin has a huge following out here!!!

  7. Wow, butcher-ville. For anyone who has ever been in the entertainment industry or picked up a magazine, you are being hypocritical to throw this guy under the bus. The show is completely edited, just like any magazine to make YOU watch the supposed “drama” unfold. Were you aware that Justin and Casey are actual friends in real life? No,cause that’s not fun to read about. Were you aware that vm’s are easily eidited, (as an IT professional in the entertainment industry, i’ve done it for producers of such shows). You take the bits and peices you want to hear and make your choices. But hate all you want, your reactions are exactly what makes the job of ripping someone through the mud an actual job. and Big Ups to Sinister…
