CONTEST DATES: Contest Open August 1, 2010 – August 31, 2010, Finalists will be Selected September 1, 2010 and Grand Prize will be awarded September 10, 2010.
TO ENTER: Post a Youtube video on Youtube or your blog and submit the link along with your photo (optional), name, location and 100 words on why you think you are Twirlit’s Beauty Expert 2010 to tiffany@twirlit.com.
CONDITIONS: If the video is incomplete, has content deemed offensive or late if it will be considered a void entry. By submitting your video, you have acknowledged compliance with the official rules and all eligibility requirements. All video submissions will become the property of Twirlit.com and will not be returned.
CONTEST GUIDELINES: Aspiring Beauty Experts will create a video that showcases their abilities either through a how to video. Videos must be at minimum 30 seconds and maximum 3 minutes in length.
All videos must be original content of the person submitting. Please do not include a video that contains trademarks or logos ( Please cover where necessary ) as they will not be added to the site due to copyright issues. Content must not be offensive, or defame / invade the rights or privacy of any person living or deceased.
Limit one entry per person. Any entries beyond this will be considered void.
PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize: Grand Prize winner who submits the best Beauty Expert video will be titled Twirlit’s Beauty Expert 2010. They will receive their own page on Twirlit introducing themselves, as well as a post monthly for the period of one (1) year.
JUDGING: Videos, chosen by the judges, will appear on Twirlit.com as they are received. 10 Finalists will then be chosen by a panel of Twirlit judges and will be posted on Twirlit.com and Twirlit’s Facebook Fan Page. www.facebook.com/Twirlit by September 1, 2010 at 12:00 Eastern Time.
The one grand prize winning video will be chosen by an online vote beginning September 1, 2010 at 12:00 Noon Eastern Time and end 12:00 Noon Eastern Time on September 10, 2010. The video receiving the most votes (between the site and Facebook) will be selected as Twirlit’s Beauty Expert 2010. All decisions are final and non-appealable.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Winner will be notified by email on or around September 10, 2010.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to all U.S. and Canadian residents who are 18 years or older.
MISCELLANEOUS: By participating in this contest, each person accepts the conditions stated in the official rules, and agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges when selecting posted entries, finalists and online voting. Entries received before August 1, 2010 or after August 31, 2010 are void. By accepting the prize, winners consent to using their name, video entry, bio information, and photographs for publicity purposes without compensation. Winners also agree that the Beauty Editor 2010 does not result in any monetary compensation but the promotion of their videos on a once per month basis for a year.
