Chelsea Clinton is about to marry her longtime love Marc Mezvinsky but the details of her wedding (and the wedding dress) were under wraps – until now, that is.
This week, the former first daughter was snapped exiting the Vera Wang store in Manhattan. Her hair appeared to be styled in a classic updo but was covered by a large hat in an effort to hide the look.
While many believe that Chelsea will wear the popular designer, there is speculation that the bride-to-be was in the store for other reasons. Sources close to Chelsea have confirmed that her bridesmaids’ dresses will be designed by Wang, which could have been the reason for the visit.
Nonetheless, Chelsea did enter and exit the store with her hair and makeup done, leading many to believe Vera will be the designer of choice for the haute couture bride.
Other high profile celebrities who have chosen to wear Vera Wang on the big day include Ivanka Trump, Khloe Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Avril Lavigne.
Personally, I see Chelsea in a wedding dress much like Ivanka Trump’s – classic, elegant and not too over-the-top (although I like Avril Lavigne’s the best).
