Is it just me, or are heels not really that bad? I don’t wear them constantly, but used to have to wear them everyday for work, and always for 5 inches or higher (otherwise, what’s the point, right?) but I never had an issue.
You know what is absolutely painful, though? SURGERY. I had a friend who had that foot narrowing surgery because she had to, and she was in a wheelchair for a week, a boot for longer, and constant pain. I can’t imagine electing to do that to myself for aesthetic reasons.

EEK! I do NOT have pretty feet by any means, but there is no way I would get plastic surgery for them to fit into narrow shoes (and yep, I’ve got wide feet). I’m shuddering just THINKING about getting foot surgery.
