Josie Duggar “Thriving” – and Duggars Would “Welcome” a 20th Kid (Watch!)

Josie Brooklyn Duggar was born prematurely at just 25 weeks last December – and although the road has been “rocky” for the Duggar family, they told The TODAY Show this morning that they’d “welcome” a 20th child. Take a look at the video:

Eight-month-old Josie is now healthy and home with her parents Michelle and Jim Bob, and Michelle told Meredith Vieira that “she is doing remarkable.” Josie now weighs 11 lbs., 6 oz. (she weighed only 1 lb 6 oz at birth).

Although Josie is lactose intolerant, Jim Bob says the baby is “doing very well now.” She’s also being weaned off of needing extra oxygen when she sleeps. “By the time she’s 2 she should be caught up developmentally,” he said.

Would the Duggars ever make their huge family even bigger? “When we look at Josie … how we went through the challenge we did, we would do it again,” Michelle said. She had said before, “We’ll just wait and see what God has in store,” which has obviously been their plan thus far.

How many kids is too many? I guess they must be able to pay for everything with their TLC reality show.
