Spencer Pratt: Married to Heidi Montag for ‘Show’
A few hours after Heidi Montag snagged headlines for officially filing for divorce from Spencer Pratt, self-proclaimed King Spencer couldn’t resist trying to steal the spotlight. He took to his twitter account, sending MTV a series of messages which essentially called his marriage to Heidi a sham.
“@MTV I got served with divorce papers? I thought that preacher at the wedding was one of the actors like my paid friends and family and exWIFE,” he wrote in one tweet. The other tweets follow along the same lines – I’ll spare you from having to read them.
The real problem is – I can’t think of anyone who would be truly “shocked” by this news. But still, Spencer keeps talking (and referring to himself in the third person).
“It’s clear that reality TV-fame-loving Spencer Pratt does not fit with my ex-wife Heidi Montag’s ambitions for a motion picture actor/pop star career and being a single sex symbol for the world,” Pratt said on Friday.
Despite denying that the marriage was ever real in the first place, Spencer later says that his relationship with Heidi didn’t work out because their relationship just wasn’t big enough for both of their egos. (Or was it his ego, and her boobs?… I’m not sure…)
The Pratt said, “Some say if you can’t handle the heat get out of the kitchen. Well, Heidi couldn’t handle King Spencer’s fame so she got out of the marriage.”
Riiiiiiight.
