Geri Halliwell to Manage Spice Girls 2.0
Friends say that Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, is working to create a new version of the popular 90’s girl group, The Spice Girls.
“She wants to combine the energy and drive of the Spice Girls, a source tells News of the World, “She’s been keeping it quiet because she doesn’t want to jinx anything but she has told the other girls and they are very supportive.”
Woah! Stop right now, thank you very much! Geri was the first to walk away from the Spice Girls in 1998, marking the beginning of the end of the group. Now she’s the one who wants to create a new and improved version of the group?
Apparently she does – and is currently in the process of making it happen. “Geri has already introduced the band to some key music executives and quite a few of the labels have already taken a keen interest. She believes the time is right for another girl band to take over the world.”
We’re told that when Geri puts her mind to something, she can be difficult to stop.
Maybe this is her way of making amends with the thousands of girls whose hearts she broke 12 years ago?
If all goes well Geri, I may just forgive you. Maybe.
