Nicole Scherzinger: Joining X Factor US?
The Pussycat Doll is reportedly on the short list to join the judging panel of Simon Cowell’s “X Factor” in the Unites States.
Sources say Nicole totally nailed it during her guest spot on the UK edition, filling in for Cheryl Cole while she was recovering from malaria.
“Nicole blew Simon away – after the first two days of filming with her, Simon told Louis it had been one of the best two days of X Factor filming ever. Her appearance was always being viewed as an ‘audition’ for X Factor US, but no one expected her to be quite as good as she was,” reports Whats On TV.
However, a spokesperson for the show has dismissed the claims, saying, “Absolutely no decisions have been made about X Factor US yet.”
If Nicole does land the gig, it would come as a blow to Cheryl, who had been hoping to continue judging the talent competition on this side of the Atlantic.
