Frank Ryan, Heidi Montag’s Plastic Surgeon, Dies in Car Crash
Frank Ryan, famous plastic surgeon to the stars, has died in a freak car accident, TMZ has confirmed.
Dr. Ryan frequently performed surgeries on television, and counted Gene Simmons, Shauna Sand, and Vince Neil among his famous clients. Most notably however, Ryan is responsible for Heidi’s transformation into a real-life Barbie doll, performing 10 surgeries on the 23 year old reality star in one day, calling the procedures a “well thought out career move.”
The 50 year old plastic surgeon was driving his jeep yesterday afternoon, when his vehicle went over the side of Pacific Coast Highway at around 4:30 pm. Ryan was trapped in the driver’s seat and suffered severe head injuries. An attempt to hoist Ryan using a helicopter was called off, as Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ryan’s dog, Jill, was with him at the time of the accident and also suffered injuries but survived. The doctor’s last tweet read, “Border collie jill surveying the view from atop the sand dune.”
