Britney Spears vs. Lady Gaga – Who’s the Real Pop Queen?
Lady Gaga may have just surpassed Britney Spears in Twitter followers, but Britney is still a Gaga lover. “I’m a big fan of hers,” Britney, 28, said in the new issue of the U.K.’s Pop magazine, which features Brit in a Japanese anime-inspired photo shoot.
Would Britney and Gaga, 24, ever do a song together? “Anything’s possible!” Britney says. She and Lady Gaga do actually have a few things in common: they both have Glee episodes dedicated to them (Britney’s will air this fall), and they’re both a little nutso. Gaga also believes in collaboration, having worked with Beyonce on “Telephone.” However, when Lady Gaga appeared with Cyndi Lauper on The TODAY Show in February to promote MAC cosmetics for AIDS awareness, she said she’d be down for a duet with the 80s diva, and nothing ever came of it.
Gaga may seem like the bigger star right now, but she’s only got two albums (not even two complete ones) under her belt, compared with Britney’s six. Maybe she could learn something from her elder! Britney’s certainly ready to be in the spotlight, given the hot bikini pics from her recent Hawaiian vacation.
