Lindsay Lohan Released from Rehab
Lindsay Lohan is a free woman – sort of.
Serving a fraction of her sentence in jail and rehab, the actress was able to check herself out of UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Hospital after just over three weeks, a source confirms. Lindsay is now in UCLA’s outpatient program.
Linds will now undergo treatment several times a week, but be able to sleep at home, rather than at the medical center, a source tells Radar Online.
During her stay the UCLA Medical Center, physicians reportedly determined that Lindsay did not need too much in-patient care, noting that the star’s seemingly erratic behavior was likely due to her being misdiagnosed with ADHD and then prescribed Adderall to treat the “phantom affliction.”
TMZ reports that people who take Adderall when they don’t actually need it can experience similar effects as people who use cocaine or methamphetamine.
Lindsay is reportedly looking forward to getting back to work, and continuing her treatment. “Lindsay is going to do what she has to do,” the source continues, “She wants this all behind her.”
