I’m not sure Justin Bieber was alive for all of the 90s’ heyday of Boyz II Men, but he’s a fan of the crooners, and MTV News reports that the Boyz provided some amazing backup at Justin’s show at Madison Square Garden in New York last night, August 31st.
Justin, 16, recently cancelled a concert due to illness, but he appears to be back in top shape. The show included plenty of jumping and kicking. Footage from the concert will be used for Justin’s 3D concert movie.
For the opening, Justin sang with them on their hit “On Bended Knee.” It’s hard to hear much harmony amidst all the tween girl screaming, but take a look at the video:
Boyz II Men also sang some backup for Justin’s hit “U Smile.” Check it out:
