After giving us her best rock star impersonation on last year’s “Rated R,” Rihanna is returning to her dance track roots with her upcoming album, “Loud.”
Set to hit shelves on November 2, Rihanna just released the CD’s first single – “Only Girl (In the World)” – which premiered Tuesday morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.
“I’m done recording the whole album,” Rihanna said. “I made sure not to let you down with my music! You guys are always defending me, so now you’ve got some great songs to justify it.”
The singer noted that she wanted to make an album more in line with her 2007 smash, “Good Girl Gone Bad,” but didn’t want to take a step backward. Instead she wanted “Loud” to be the next step forward in “the evolution of Rihanna.”
“Loud” also represents the star’s personality, “just being normal, normal for me is LOUD! Sassy, fun, flirty, energetic,” she said. “I’m just gonna be ME cause that’s what you guys love the most, and that’s what makes me feel best.”

The song was produced by Stargate, who collaborated with Rihanna on a few of her earlier hits, including “Don’t Stop the Music,” “Hate That I Love You,” and “Rude Boy.”

This is one of the interesting materials I’ve read on only girl so far. Something else that’s related to only girl is this comedy video I’ve seen on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Efbcvfe1GQ. It’s a spoof on Rihanna’s Only Girl. You might want to check it out.
