VMAs 2010: When, What Time, List of Performers and Red Carpet Details!

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (more commonly known as the VMAs) will take place this Sunday (September 12) and the biggest stars from all around the world are expected to attend.

When and What Time are the VMAs 2010?

The actual event kicks off at 9/8c but the red carpet events start as early as 7 or 8pm. The event is supposed to run for 2 hours but, as you may remember from previous years, live events tend to run over the time limit.  You may want to plan to stay up a few extra minutes to catch the full show.

Details of the 2010 VMAs

Popular comedienne Chelsea Handler will host the prestigious event, which takes place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Viewers may expect to see Kanye West and Taylor Swift run into each other on the red carpet as both musicians are expected to attend. Kanye will be performing while Taylor is nominated for Best Female Video for her song Fifteen.
