LeAnn Rimes is not about to let Wendy Williams badmouth her on national TV. After Rimes appeared on the cover of the latest issue of Shape and talked about why she cheated on husband Dean Sheremet with now-boyfriend Eddie Cibrian, Williams (a syndicated talk show host) called Rimes’ affair “sloppy” – and LeAnn’s not cool with that.
US Weekly reports: “It’s all very sloppy,” Williams said. She also said that Rimes also shouldn’t have referred to Cibrian’s sons as her “boys.” Said Williams: “The boys have a mother, and her name is Brandi [Glanville].”
Rimes, 28, quickly Tweeted: “All I know is Wendy Williams done pissed my mamma off! I don’t wanna be in her path. To say, ‘I’ve reserved myself a place in hell?!’ I’m incredibly disappointed to see someone with that kind of platform use it for such negativity and could be so mean and judgmental about a situation they know nothing about…I don’t like how it happened either, said it a million times, but this is out of control.”
What do you think? Was Wendy justified in her judgment of LeAnn? I think we have to give LeAnn some credit for coming clean and being honest…and it’s not like Wendy is perfect. We all make mistakes.
LeAnn didn’t “come clean” and “be honest”. She lied until she “hooked up” with the man whose wife finally divorced him over the matter. It’s kind of impossible ot keep lying then. After that, she makes excuse after excuse after excuse. That is not coming clean. That is making excuses.
Wendy may not be perfect, but as far as I know she hasn’t destroyed someone else’s family. Be imperfect in YOUR life, not someone else’s. In many states, what they did is still illegal.
She cheated on her husband with a married man…in my eyes she’s twice the whore. There is NEVER a reason to cheat, if you aren’t happy get a divorce! Those two deserve each other. When you are famous and do something like that…people are going to talk!
She committed a crime, it’s that simple. Yes, we r not perfect but you don’t do something against the law and simply say “this is out of control”.
