Britney Spears arrived at a Los Angeles courthouse Thursday for a conservatorship hearing. TMZ reports that the pop star arrived with her lawyers as the judge working her case, Reba Goetz wanted to see her.
Britney’s Dad, Jamie Spears, was also present in the judge’s chambers, leaving the courtroom just minutes after his famous daughter.
According to Judge Goetz [via TMZ], she had a “very nice conversation” with Britney regarding the status of her conservatorship; however as of today Britney will remain under the current conservatorship agreement. “At this time, all orders will remain in full force and full effect,” the judge confirmed.
Judge Goetz has reportedly discussed ending Britney’s conservatorship with the lawyers over the last few sessions, but at least for now, the current agreement holds strong.
The judge said that she met with both Britney and Jamie individually today regarding the conservatorship and a petition to approve the “investment strategies” of the pop star’s trust.
