Christina Aguilera has decided she’s better off going solo, as a source close to the singer and husband Jordan Bratman tells US Weekly that the couple “has been separated for a few months.” The source added, “They are now living apart, and they will see how that goes.”
Christina and Jordan met in 2002 when he was a producer on one of her albums. They were married three years later, and have a 2-year old son, Max.
“They were very much in love,” the insider blabbed to Us. “But over the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife.”
Christina even proposed that she and Jordan take a summer trip to Italy to help rekindle their relationship, but it reportedly couldn’t save their failing marriage.
Despite their differences, the couple has vowed to remain fully committed to Max. “He is their main concern,” the insider confirmed.
Christina has been busy in the studio completing work on the soundtrack for her film debut, ‘Burlesque’ even bringing Max to the studio with her.
“Christina is doing her best to be a great mom. She has a lot to juggle, but she’s learning how to make it work and balance it all.”
