Christina Aguilera Files For Divorce
Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce. People Magazine reports that just two days after it was confirmed that the songstress and her husband of five years had been separated for a month, Christina officially wants to end her marriage with Jordan Bratman. The reason? “Irreconcilable differences.”
TMZ also reported that Christina has asked for joint physical and legal custody of their two year-old son, Max. Earlier this week, Christina said, “Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”
Christina, 29, and Jordan, 33, were married in Napa Valley, California, back in 2005. According to MTV, Jordan is a music marketing executive – and he won’t be getting any of Christina’s money. Christina’s hired powerhouse lawyer Laura Wasser, and she’s reported to have a prenuptial agreement that maintains “earnings and accumulations of [Aguilera] before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation” be considered separate property.
Boo all this breakup news! The Courteney Cox and David Arquette split makes me even sadder.
