Rihanna Only Girl in the World (Watch!)
Rihanna has returned to the danceable pop tracks that made her famous, ditching her edgy ‘Rated R’ tunes for the more upbeat ‘Only Girl (In the World) single.
The music video is also much lighter and more whimsical than we’ve seen the singer in years. It’s not revolutionary, but the video is beautifully shot, and Rihanna herself looks gorgeous. It’s simple, and it works – and it’s all Rihanna all the time. She is, after all, the only girl in (that) world.
“It looks so unreal,” Rihanna told Just Jared. “It looks fake, like something out of a postcard… We had a lot of sunshine those couple of days, so it really worked with the whole essence of the video. But really, the video just shows this big landscape and the only person there is me.”
