Hey, Carl Paladino, you’re not the only shocking candidate for governor of New York. Jimmy McMillan has taken the spotlight away from Paladino’s homophobia, running on behalf of the Rent is Too Damn High Party. Take a look at the video of his introduction at the gubernatorial debate:
The red & blue graphic, which treats his cause as an actual party, is too perfect.
Jimmy’s had a tough hill to climb in politics, given the Election Board’s disapproval of the word “Damn” in his party. (Buzzkills.) It’s hard to disagree with Jimmy – rent certainly is a bummer these days. If only he had a plan for fixing it, right? And if you’re worried about electing a homophobe, McMillan is the perfect alternative. When it comes to gay marriage, he says that, “The Rent is Too Damn High Party feels that if you want to marry a shoe, I’ll marry you.”
