After last week’s season finale of Teen Mom, many fans were wondering what the future will hold for teen parents Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards. The second-last episode of this season showed Maci and her then-boyfriend Kyle King breaking up after Kyle decided that dating Maci was “too much.”
After watching the whole season, you can imagine how surprised I was to see new photos of Maci and Kyle back together and having a cute date at a pumpkin patch – especially after the abrupt breakup between the couple after Kyle decided he didn’t want to work things out even though Maci moved all the way to Nashville to be with him. The photo (seen right) is taken from this year, proving the two are definitely back on.
The season finale made it seem like Maci and Ryan (the father of Maci’s baby boy Bentley) might get back together but this photo of Maci and Kyle kissing definitely puts those thoughts to rest – at least for now.
The question is, why would Maci go back to Kyle after he treated her so poorly during their breakup (go to MTV.com, search for Teen Mom in the list of shows, find episode 11 and go towards the end of the episode to see the video of their breakup)?
Sure, Ryan had his moments but he was never as mean to Maci as Kyle was in this episode. Don’t you agree?

I think you’ve got them mixed up. Ryan was HORRIBLE to Maci, especially during season 1. She took on school and caring for Bentley, only to be called ‘lazy’ and ‘selfish’ by Ryan. Her break-up with Kyle seemed a bit odd, as if he really didn’t care. I’m sure there is more to the story then MTV is showing you. But I’d have to say I’m Team Kyle. Any guy is better then self-centered mama’s boy Ryan! I find it funny that he really didn’t care about the visitation situation with Bentley until his parents said something to him. Then he suddenly cared. Grow up, Ryan. Your dad obviously never taught you how to be a man.
Hey Laura, you’re right. I didnt watch as much of the first season so my view here is more in regards to season 2. I’ve from others that Ryan was pretty bad in Season 1 so I’ll have to go back and watch. Either way, I still think Maci would take Ryan back in a second if he told her he wanted to be with her again.
maci and ryan were cute together but he did act like a dick and kyle is a dick for making her move to nashville and break up with her. He couldnt break up with her when she was still living with her parents? Maci deserves wayyyy better than the both of them, but if she does get back with ryan he is gonna have to show her that he really has changed
I’m glad they’re back!!! Both Bentley and maci love Kyle and they make a cute family and bentley looks Lik he’s kyles son. Lol. But hey maci give him a break he does work alot and I bet he gets tired… He’s human!
yes hes a human but she asked him n the beginning if hes willing to commit himself n that it was going to be alot to handle hes agreed i guess he wasnt man enough to handle it n plus ryans bentley dad not sayin hes perfect he is a jerk but what guy isnt n u never know kyle mughut play this it kist too much for me role agian it wud just be a mouth shot in macis face once again
I disagree- I think that Maci should try to get back together with Ryan for Bentley’s sake. In the end of the season 2 finale, it was SO obvious that both Ryan and Maci still have feelings for each other, and even though Ryan treated Maci poorly throghout season 1, you could tell that he still cared. I think that Kyle seems pretty dull and acts like he doesn’t give a damn. I’m totally TEAM RYAN!!!
I think Maci is a amazing young lady and to be real about it the only man she needs in her life now is the love of her life Bentley!
I think ryan was horriable however many men when they become fathers to soon seem to react that way I have been in Maci’s shoes and I know. I have my son’s father who I have been married to for 8 years and you could not ask for a better father and husband he did alot of growing up when our son was 2 and we worked it out with that said I just hope maci keeps her mind open when it comes to ryan and I believe that kyle is an ass to have her move and then treat her that way
I am also team Ryan, maci and bentley!!! She should not be with Kyle, he is a douche and you cannot understand him (subtitles and all) Kyle looks like that ugly kid on king of the hill. He was so rude a out her trying to cook and wouldn’t even be there for her when she was obviously lonely. Ryan is just souch better to look at and I believe he and maci love eachother but they are both very stubborn! I hope okagazime is true and that maci is back with Ryan now, that would be so great for them and their baby boy.

Team Ryan and Maci! Maci still Loves Ryan and always will, she left Kyle for Ryan from the get go… But Kyle is Fugly and does look like he belongs on King of the Hill, and I can’t really understand him at times, he talks like Boomhower! LOL

Ryan is an unfeeling douche bag who practically admitted in the first teen mom reunion that Maci loves Bently more then her does. What the hell? And he had the balls to call her selfish, and a bitch. He always went behind her back to his friends and talked mad shit about her. What did kyle do? Oh, he’s not attractive. Like I said, whatever. Ryan’s a dick. I’d pick Kyle over him any day. If you’d do otherwise because Ryan looks better, then you’re shallow and ignorant. I’d love to hear any logical reasons for Maci going back to Ryan.

lisa…first of all i don’t think many of the comments were stating that he is just fugly, but the fact that she moved to nashville for him after the drama she had to go through made it obvious that he’s a jerk, secondly ryan didnt admit that maci loved bentley more..he was stating that maci is a mother and her love for HER child is different she does have more connection with her baby..any mother should kno that but of course ryan loves he’s child just a little differently from maci cuz she is the mother
