Fans of MTV’s hit show Teen Mom have watched Amber Portwood physically and emotionally abuse her on-again, off-again fiancé Gary for the past 2 seasons.
On this week’s finale episode, Amber told Dr. Drew that she was incredibly sorry for her behavior and planned to seek counseling to help deal with her issues. Unfortunately, just days after the airing of that episode, we’re sad to say that’s simply not the case.
It is being reported today that cops were called to the home of Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley on Tuesday (the same night the finale aired) over an alleged domestic dispute. Sources say that police arrived to the scene to find Amber standing outside her home dressed only in her underwear, crying.
Apparently, the incident sparked over a text message Gary received. Amber couldn’t control her temper and, for the first time, the police were called (the police weren’t even called to the scene when Amber punched Gary in the face/head several times). We’re assuming the couple’s daughter Leah was at the home at the time of the dispute.
When cops arrived, Amber apologized for the incident and blamed her actions on the fact that she’s stressed out over her pending battering investigation against Gary when her daughter was present.

this girl is out of control and needs to be locked up and charged with assault and battery. I don’t care what environment you grew up in you know whats right and wrong. And Gary just goes a long with it. He needs to kick her abusive butt to the curb. Amber is way too out of control.

Honestly, all four of these teen moms have been through hell and back. that doesnt mean any of them should feel the right to lash out. Farrah is dealing with a major loss and grief SHE IS THE ONLY GIRL I SEE BEING JUSTIFIED FOR BEING A B____. In the begining Maci stepped up Ryan didnt Maci dealt with taking care of TWO kids and with Ryan’s intelligence level and demeaner towards maci, we can all see she deserves far better than ryan. ryan claims she argues with him yet the only one i’ve seen instigate is him. looks like he cant take responsibility for his own action. Catelynn and tyler very mature for their age CARLY did that. honestly if they had kept her they would have been amazing parents i almost regret their decision for them because that girl would of had it made. they should of just removed themselves rom where they lived and started new. than again they now have a second chance to chance their lives. BUT! yes in the begining Gary was a total prick and such a jerk to amber he didnt even care. but TWO WRONGS DO NOT MAKE A RIGHT!! despite dealing with post pardom Amber is getting to violent. Leah see’s everything! does amber want leah lashing out on amber when she’s a teen. WE TEACH BY EXAMPLE. my daughter copies everything i do and i love it because im busting my you know what to set an example for her. amber claims its happened to her BREAK THE CYCLE RATHER THAN KEEPING IT GOING. ITS NOT GOOD TO LET YOUR KID SEE THAT NEGITIVTY IT PUTS A HUGE AMOUNT OF EMOTIONAL STRESS ON THAT CHILD. IF AMBERS NOT CAREFUL HER DAUGHTER IS GOING TO STRUGGLE WITH DEPRESSION ISSUES. as Amber said on TV with doctor drew leah is now already at a point where she wants them to have nothing to with each other. did she not say leah says no when they kiss AMBER LISTEN TO YOUR KID SHE’S TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING. RIGHT NOW YOU HAVE A CHILD TO WORRY ABOUT EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING HAS TO DO WITH YOUR DEMEANER, ATTITUDE, AND PERSONALITY IN FRONT OF HER. SERIOUSLTY ITS NOT ABOUT YOU ANYMORE. AND IF YOU CANT STOP AND THINK ABOUT WHATS BEST FOR LEAH YOUR GONNA LOSE HER. its not about you and its not about Gary its about leah. LEAH IS NUMBER HERE RIGHT NOW AND BOTH OF YOUARE NEGLECTING HER NEEDS.
Amber has major psychological issues. She is incredibly narcissistic and she has major rage issues. She seems to think that her child is ther to make her happy…not the other way around. In one episode Leah wasd crying and Amber lashed out at her saying, “Why are you doing this to me right now?” “Stop crying.” etc. She is a miserable person and her misery seems to bleed all over those around her…even an INNOCENT child!!! She can’t even put her own issues aside to love an protect her child. She has no concern for what her abuse (emotional verbal and physical) are doing to her daughter…I guess her feelings are more important than her daughters!
So, yes get that child the hell out of there, send Amber to an in patient program and give Gary the balls to get away from her! He may not be attractive but he is far more beautiful on the inside than she’ll ever be!
And, why the hell did MTV just stand on the sidelines?!!
Amber has to GROW UP.
She needs psychiatric’s help to CALM DOWN and anger management.
And they obviously have to break up with Gary bc it will never work out for them.
She needs to stay alone and love herself first before starting a new relationship with a GOOD guy, not some idiot from Wallmart.
Amber needs a wake up call. She should attend anger management courses. She needs to feel better about herself. I highly doubt she would act out like this if she had high self esteem, of course that probably isn’t her only issue. She clearly cannot handle stress. Gary needs to set boundaries, this behavior is not okay. When is enough, enough? He needs to quit being a doormat. I feel bad for Leah. I really hope the reports of Amber being pregnant again are false. She’s already destroying one little girl’s childhood.
Yes I think Amber’s custody rights should be taken away BUT I think Gary should get custody! It’s obvious that baby girl loves her daddy and he loves her! He takes her out of the craziness when he can and he tries to correct ambers REDICULOUS actions when Leah is around! It’s obvious that hes a good father! Amber should not blame her past and childhood on her actions, most people who grew up in a bad environment grow from it because they dont want to be like that! I know people who have grow from a HORRIBLE childhood and living situation and takes care of their siblings! There is no excuss for her actions except the fact that she needs MENTAL HELP!!! SOMEONE HELP THAT GIRL for her daughters sake! Dont just press charges on her she needs help!!!!!!!! AND GARY yes grow some balls your better than that!!!!!!

I think amber is more concerned about her own well being and entertainment in life, than caring for her daughter, and trying to hold her famiy together. COME ON, she is a misserable person, all she does is wine and complain. Anyone with a normal stability level does not wine and complain to there not even 2 year old daughter. NO i dont think amber should have her baby taken away.everyone goes through problems and i understand why she is so depressed but its only a phase and it will pass. yes she does have anger issues but thats something she can fix, its not something permanant. i think both amber and gary should talk about their issues and not fight about it and try to make it work. its either your not together or you are one or the other and they need to figure it out. whether you admit it or not most people have gone through arguements with their boyfriend/girlfriend just like amber and gary

Yes, Leah should definitly be taken away!! Also this domestic abuse should be addressed. Amber needs to spend some time in jail for her violence. Maybe that would straighten her out. She continuously gets away with it.
