Scarlett Johansson New Bob Haircut (Photos): Love or Hate It?

Scarlett Johansson has always been known for her long curly blonde locks but the stunning actress is ripping a page out of Posh’s book and chopping off her lengthy layers for a sophisticated bob.

Scarlett debuted her new ‘do this week at the Mango Fashion Awards and it seems as though fans of the star have mixed emotions regarding the change.

Some of the comments on MarieClaire.co.uk include “Much prefer her longer locks – the bob looks a bit scraggly” and “It’s a bit 2002 isn’t it? In all serious, this could be a great look for her but it’s too controlled. She needs some extra body – get in there with some wax!”

Personally, I prefer the long locks. Sure, Scarlett is beautiful enough to pull off almost any look but the way she has it styled in this picture make it look more like a messy ponytail with bangs falling down than it does a stylish bob.

Maybe you could give Victoria Beckham a call. I’m sure she can give you some styling tips, Scarlett!

What do you think of the Iron Man star’s new haircut?

I love it, but I agree this styling method is too half-messy. I just got a collarbone-length version of this shape and I am loving it!

  2. A Mom in Red High Heels says:

LOVE IT! From the side, it is gorgeous! The front looks a little scraggly and thin…maybe a few front extensions to help it out?

  3. hate it!!

  4. Bellissima!!!!

  5. I like Scarlett’s new look. It makes her look younger and more sexier.

  6. I think she had the end of her nose tweaked and the haircut is a distraction to that.

  7. Love it! Don’t worry so much about what others think…just be yourself!
