It’s time to break out the champagne Little Monsters – Lady Gaga is the first artist to have 1 billion You Tube views!
The Princess of Pop reached the amazing milestone Sunday, and with epic videos like ‘Bad Romance,’ ‘Paparazzi,’ and ‘Alejandro’ it’s no surprise that Lady Gaga fans kept coming back for more.
Ecstatic over the news, Gaga sent a celebratory tweet to her legions of fans, “We reached one billion views on You Tube little monsters. If we stick together we can do anything. I dub you kings and queens of You Tube! Unite!”
Teenage pop star Justin Bieber is the only other artist close to the ‘1 billion views’ mark – he’s expected to reach the milestone sometime next month.
For now, Lady Gaga is the sole artist whose music videos have been watched by fans over 1 billion times.
