The Situation Defends Calling Women ‘Grenades’
Jersey Shore’s Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino was on the ‘Today’ show this morning, promoting his new book, ‘Here’s the Situation: A Guide to Creeping on Chicks, Avoiding Grenades and Getting Your GTL on the Jersey Shore.’
However despite the title, and actual excerpts from the book, The Situation is “a very deep person.” At least, according to The Situation. (And yes, he managed to say that with a straight face – maybe acting is in his future after all?)
Mike also insists that you “shouldn’t judge a book by its cover,” though we think he only abides by that rule if the book is not a woman, and that woman is not fat and ugly.
If you haven’t seen an episode of The Jersey Shore, Sitch calls what he deems to be fat or ugly chicks “grenades,” though the reality star insists that his term is not misogynistic. “It’s a humorous, humorous look or guide to being in your twenties,” Mike says. Because being in your twenties automatically gives you a free pass on all things offensive and irresponsible. Duh.
He then bragged about just how popular the phrase had become.
