Heidi Montag Spencer Pratt: Homeless and Broke?!
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are finally getting a dose of reality. Life and Style reports that the two former stars of MTV’s ‘The Hills’ have squandered their $10 million fortune. The couple reportedly owes $2 million in taxes, are considering filing for bankruptcy, and are living in Spencer’s family’s guesthouse – a studio apartment.
“We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part,” Spencer says. “In hindsight, we shouldn’t have spent any of our money. We should have been low-key and saved.”
Speidi previously spent millions on private jets, Heidi’s failed music career, a posh Malibu home, cars, and healing crystals. Now, Spencer says, his parents are his “lifeline.”
“Spencer’s parents go to the grocery store for us once a week,” Heidi added, “and that’s all we get.” Though Spencer insists, they are not looking for sympathy.
“We did this to ourselves and feel like idiots. But we’ve grown up and are definitely not as naïve anymore.”
