Leonardo DiCaprio Blake Lively Dinner Date?
Newly single Blake Lively dined with Leonardo DiCaprio at The Lion in New York City on Wednesday. Though we’d kind of like to think this was a date, the gorgeous pair were not alone. “It was an 8 person dinner,” a source revealed, but, adding a glimmer of hope, Lainey Gossip, who first broke the story, alleges the pair left together. Aesthetically she’s totally his type, right?
Still, there’s also the business angle to consider (if we must..).
Great Gatsby director Baz Luhrmann was among their dinner group, and US Weekly reports that Leo has already been cast as Jay Gatsby in Baz’s adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic book, The Great Gatsby. Blake is rumored to be strongly considered for the role of Gatsby’s love, Daisy Buchanan.
Deadline reports that Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Kiera Knightly and Michelle Williams are also in contention for the part.
